We use the Java SE platform for our software, and the Java EE platform for our web services. Java EE (or J2EE as it used to be known) is the enterprise edition of the Java programming language, which is designed to take advantage of all the features of Java, while running on a server with very powerful, low level, tools.
Java also gives us the capability to build any tool from scratch which you may require - anything you can imagine can be modelled and built to run on our servers!
